One of the genres of music I listen to is Video Game Music. When it comes to music from video games, there a vast amount of music genres that can be present throughout video games.
Some of my favorite video game soundtracks that I enjoy listening to include Persona 5, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. There's a lot more than I listed here, but that list would be way too long.
Jazz
Another Genre of Music I listen to is jazz every now and then. Whenever I'm not listening to video game music, I might listen to jazz for background music (Normally when my family needs background music to listen to at the house).
Jazz is a solid genre of music in my life since it can help with relaxing the atmosphere when you need it. Of course, jazz can be energetic if you don't need relaxing music.
Symphonic Metal
Some of the video game soundtracks I listen to fall under the category of Symphonica metal, where symphonic string instruments and metal guitars create music with other symphonic or metal instruments in harmony.
Some soundtracks that are under the symphonic metal category include Castlevania music and some soundtracks from Ys Games (at least some arrangements of them).
